Overnight Guests at The Order of Saint Helena in December

Who we are:    

The mission of the Order of Saint Helena is to show forth the love of Christ through a monastic life 

of prayer, hospitality, and service. We are lay and ordained women living communally under a vow 

of monastic poverty, celibate chastity, and obedience to God. From Benedictine roots, we discern 

new ways to interpret traditional monasticism, as we strive to grow in diversity and inclusivity. 

Silence: 

Our guest house and convent are spaces of intentional quiet, allowing for the Holy Spirit to 

speak.  If silence feels unfamiliar, know that you are supported, our staff is here for you, the 

sisters are praying for you, and God is near. 

Cost: 

We kindly request a suggested donation of $160 for the weekend. This includes 

all meals, including a Continental breakfast, Chef-inspired lunches, and a Light dinner.  If you 

have dietary restrictions, please notify us at least one week before your 

visit (office_manager@osh.org).  We will do our best to accommodate.  Please note that 

we are not a nut-free facility.  All monies donated directly support the ministry of the Sisters of 

Saint Helena. 

Spiritual Direction: 

If you are interested in a spiritual direction session, we offer this service for a donation 

of $60 per session. 

Fragrance-Free: 

For the health and comfort of all, please refrain from using scented products, including 

perfume, cologne, aftershave, scented lotions, hair products, soaps, and deodorants.
